The Camp Marist Experience

Choosing the right camp for your child is an important task. While many camps may have similar activities and facilities, we believe that the Camp Marist experience is unlike any other. Based in the White Mountain Lakes region of New Hampshire, Camp Marist is a special place where children learn about character, leadership and community. Under the leadership of the Marist Brothers for over 75 years, an international Catholic teaching order, Camp Marist has helped campers develop strong self-esteem, learn new skills and make lifelong friendships and memories.
As an international co-ed camp, with campers and staff from different parts of the world, Camp Marist has a strong tradition of building a sense of global community – or the Camp Marist Family. A welcoming place for children to learn about other cultures, Camp Marist is a fun-filled environment that fosters personal growth in faith, mind, body and friendship through challenging and educational activities. Our global alumni group, made up of former campers and staff, is a testament that the Camp Marist Experience is something that stays with you long after the last sunset of the summer.
Program
The Camp Marist Activities Program offers a dynamic, personalized experience built around each camper’s interests. With over 30 electives across sports, fitness, adventure, nature, and the arts—plus daily waterfront instruction led by certified staff—campers learn skills in a safe and supportive environment. Activities include age-based, gender-based, and mixed groups, with progressive levels that allow campers to grow each summer. Campers help shape their own schedules by selecting their preferred activities, with flexibility to make changes early in the session. With its variety, structure, and expert instruction, the Camp Marist program is truly unique and outstanding.
Activities
Campers can choose from adventure and nature programs like archery, horseback riding, ropes courses, and go-karts; a full array of sports and fitness options including soccer, basketball, yoga, track, and martial arts; and a vibrant creative and performing arts program featuring crafts, ceramics, music, drama, and dance. Every camper also enjoys daily waterfront instruction led by certified staff, with opportunities for swimming, sailing, canoeing, kayaking, paddleboarding, waterskiing, and more. With structured skill development, expert instructors, and the freedom for campers to build personalized schedules, Camp Marist offers a uniquely dynamic and enriching summer experience.
