Scholarships

For more than 75 years, Camp Marist has welcomed young people from around the world to 250 wooded acres on Ossipee Lake, New Hampshire. The Camp Marist Scholarship, endorsed by the Marist Provincial Council and Marist schools, supported by the Camp Marist Scholarship Endowment, and offered in partnership with local clubs and organizations, helps deserving boys and girls ages 6 to 16 share that experience at a subsidized to no cost to their families.

The Camp Marist Values
• Kindness. Selfless acts that show true care for others.
• Respect. Honoring every person and background, even in conflict.
• Community. Including everyone and building lifelong friendships.
• Character. Being genuine, honest, and humble, and doing good quietly.
• Spirit. Bringing passion and gratitude, and staying fully present.

Campers enjoy more than 30 activities and a 1:3 staff-to-camper ratio in an ACA-accredited program.

What will my child get out of camp? Camp Marist aims to help every camper:
• Become more independent.
• Become more resilient.
• Make friends and develop stronger social skills.
• Learn from positive adult role models.
• Learn new athletic, artistic, and outdoor living skills.
• Grow in faith, religion, and spirituality.
• Grow in an environment of physical safety, emotional safety, and genuine fun.

Scholarships are awarded on financial need, merit, or both, and this one application serves both. Every applicant is considered first on character. Families who would like their circumstances considered can say so in Part B. No tax returns or income documents are required.

Part A is for the camper, in their own words. Part B is for a parent or guardian. There are no wrong answers, and spelling doesn’t count. We are looking for honesty, heart, and a willingness to grow.
