About Camp MaristCamp Marist was founded in 1949 on the beautiful shores of Ossipee Lake by The Marist Brothers, an international Catholic teaching order. After having established numerous elementary and high schools throughout the world, the Brothers wished to create a camp which complemented what they were doing in their schools. Camp Marist is a traditional residential summer camp for boys and girls, ages 6 to 16. Nestled on 300 acres in the White Mountain region of New Hampshire, we offer children an opportunity to continue learning about their faith, learn about character and community, develop strong self-esteem and self-awareness, and grow in confidence while practicing new skills.
Camp Marist is fully accredited by the American Camp Association and undergoes a rigorous re-accreditation process every three years, in order to insure that proper safety codes and health regulations be maintained.
