Our Summer Camp Director

Br. Jim Halliday was selected as Camp Marist's 7th director in 1998 after completing ten years of service as a cabin prefect for Pogoville, one of our boys cabins. Br. Jim has a B.A. from Wheeling Jesuit University and an M.S. in Guidance from Fordham University. He has served as a guidance counselor, assistant principal and principal of Marist High School, Eugene, Oregon for 8 years and has also served as a counselor and campus minister at Central Catholic High School, Lawrence, Massachusetts. He is a member of the American Camping Association and a certified counselor in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
